Sometimes failing to turn on at all when the car is started i. Alternatively, starts beeping for no reason. Most often during light snow or rain, sometimes on a cold clear day". They did a great job - except apparently they screwed up all of the sensors. I found that some were working lane change, blind side warning and the cameras, but the cameras weren't coming online automatically when I got close to something in the front or the rear.
It turns out that Infiniti repair shop found that the body shop messed up the connections for the sensors not the cameras , and I had to bring the car in TWICE to get them fixed properly. The person who hit me's insurance company paid a lot because I chose Infiniti as a body shop.
To me, they should know even better than a typical body shop how to attach the sensors when they put on new fenders and parts. You couldn't tell the mileage, gas tank or anything else.
Took to the Infiniti Dealership on Aug. The system had to have a hard reboot. They also, fixed another recall. The dealership reset the computer and the problem was fixed, that happened two weeks ago".
Not intuitive. Cannot program while moving, driver OR passenger. Voice command makes you look at the screen longer for prompts than if you were to plug address in yourself. Voice prompt system never works correctly or understands. Currently use a Garmin with better results. It fails to connect about once every two weeks". Steering wheel controls stopped working at the same time".
Never finds address, business correctly. Driver must spend long amounts of time staring at screen if braving the voice control commands. Whoever designed the system should be taken out and slapped daily for their failure.
Had to drive over an hour to get the repair and was without the vehicle for two days. That was miserable and frustrating. It was fixed the first time - they claimed it was a refrigerant leak. It happened again shortly after and they replaced the condenser and hoses. Fixed but car was out of service for a week". The problem is it is sold as one unit. You cannot buy the clutch separately for the compressor as it is one unit. It is now guaranteed for as long as I own it compressor. There were rusted out refrigerant lines that had to be replaced and the coolant recharged.
The corrosion occurred at a support point. This is a flaw in the design as the support bracket is steel and the pipe is aluminum. The pipe is over to purchase and I replaced it myself.
Had to be replaced". I've been told this a known problem and is not covered by the Infiniti warranty. Fortunately I had bought a different warranty which covered a large part of the cost. Given that is a known issue, why isn't it covered by a recall?

Dealer replaced gauge cluster under warranty both times. States an internal open in gauge cluster". Dealer had to reconnect a loose wire in the dashboard".
We ran out of gas and had to have the car towed because we thought the car died too. They were able to walk me through how to start the car when battery low touch fob to push button start and I didn't have to". The unit was replaced by Infiniti and was told it was a bad connection when the car wa". This same issue happened three years ago when I first purchased the car".
Went to dealer three times before they fixed problem". Took it to the dealer to repair and the "fix" they did lasted for all of 30 minutes or so. Had to take it back and they had to replace the whole headliner the second time". The dealership has looked at it several times, they've fixed it a few times, only to have it come back when they subsequently service the car the next time to reprogram the computers on recalls?
Weak clips holding in dash panel". Took the lemon law to get it resolved by corporate Nissan". Eventually dealer was able to glue down and eliminate noise". Antilock system ABS , parking brake, master cylinder, calipers, rotors, pulsation or vibration, squeaking, brake failure or wear.
I brought it to the attention of Nissan and the dealer but no problem could be found. After 18 months of this problem, I was notified of a recall that final". Vehicle would stop on initial depression of the brake pedal but then the peddle would continue to drop to the floor while sitting at a standstill with my foot on the brake pedal". That is what happened here.
Not sure why, or how, but that is just poor engineering, and terrible parts. NO other explanation can exist". My other vehicle BMW brakes are still oem brakes after 52k miles. Rear pads were totally worn out and uneven wear on front pads. Nothing else". Transmission rebuild or replacement, torque converter, clutch replacement. Problem first felt within first miles, dealer checked and said to keep driving, worse at 5,mile checkup, same advise, replaced at 10,0".
It did not solve the problem. Next step will be to replace the transmission". Transmission replaced. This was a known defect on this vehicle". In the 1st 6 mo. The tech claimed there has been a general failure of the system and they have thoUSnds to replace". Car quit moving". CVT failed. Apparently, it was a known problem but thank goodness we had full Infiniti warranty coverage. Gear selector or linkage, leaks, transmission computer, transmission sensor or solenoid, clutch adjustment, rough shifting, slipping transmission.
It was fixed by warranty". Dealer looked at vehicle 3 times and never fixed problem". Power or manual windows, locks and latches, tailgate, hatch or trunk, doors or sliding doors, mirrors, seat controls, safety belts, sunroof, convertible top. Drivers side had to be replaced". Radiator, cooling fan, antifreeze leaks, water pump, thermostat, overheating. It required replacing the fan. Expensive fix". Cruise control, clock, warning lights, body control module, keyless entry, wiper motor or washer, tire pressure monitor, interior or exterior lights, horn, gauges, 12V power plug, remote engine start, alarm or security system.
Needed jump start to get back up and running. Dealer determined it was a bad battery. Issue has not returned in four months". Muffler, pipes, catalytic converter, exhaust manifold, leaks.
Went to dealership to have it replaced. Sadly, now every time I have a passenger, the supplemental airbag warning light on my dashboard flashes. They replaced the OCS, but a passenger triggered the warning light again. I have an appointment next week to hopefully fix it for good. Shocks or struts, ball joints, tie rods, wheel bearings, alignment, steering linkage includes rack and pinion , power steering pumps and hoses, leaks , wheel balance, springs or torsion bars, bushings, electronic or air suspension.
The right front strut was replaced and the popping sound stopped". Engine rebuild or replacement, cylinder head, head gasket, turbo or supercharger, timing chain or timing belt. Before I could bring it in, it began bucking and making terrible noises. When I brought it in, they asked my permission to take apart the engine.
Upon taking it apart, they found significant damage related to the oil - many things wrong that I don't understand. I had to provide records that I'd regularly serviced the car. Infiniti found that the dealer I'd purchased the car from should have never sold it as certified pre-owned, that it was a lemon with no maintenance records.
Infiniti replaced the engine for free, but has not solved the other problems. I believe the entire car is a lemon but I have no recourse other than to keep bringing it in for service. Infiniti corporate never reached out to me, nor did I receive an apology. The repairing dealer implied that the new engine was resolution enough for a bad sale. I'm furious but I don't know what to do.
