My hair is a bit dirty and I found this made it easier to apply the product. If your hair is squeaky clean, I would spray some dry shampoo or texture spray onto your hair first to help the colour stick. You can apply it quite lightly for a washed out colour or keep adding more for a vibrant pink. Gently rub the colour through the ends of your hair for an even finish.
I thought it would be harder to apply but it took to my hair really easily. I found the packaging a little awkward to hold and easy to drop. It was a pink explosion. My hair is atm a light gingery brown and its looks awesome! Definitely going to try some hairspray because it definitely rubs off onto stuff! Much safer way than actual dye! I then pinned the roll into place with grips to secure. Keeping the front tonged pieces loose around the face I pulled out random sections of hair from the roll and tonged again to create loose curls.

I applied the bug a few times to create subtle Pink highlights. I found by adding more pressure to the bug against the hair on application it made the colour darker.
As I wanted to match the Pink to the models lipstick I only applied very light pressure. Color Bug is wipe on, wipe off colour. It is advised that the Session. Spray is used as a barrier before the colour is applied; the Maxi. Wash will also help break down the colour if needed. With a towel draped around your shoulders to protect your clothes, apply a hair product and then the Color Bug to make it stick.
